Brief update – Traveling to Peru next week

We have completed our month long Inter-cultural training at JAARS in Waxhaw, attended my Granddaddy’s funeral in VA, and completed the week long Calvary Church mission conference last week. Calvary Youth
We had the opportunity to speak to the youth tonight at Calvary Church. It was a lot of fun but also stressful. It is funny how, just because you are a missionary, everyone assumes you must enjoy and be good at speaking in front of large crowds. That is not Christian’s cup of tea. ICC Week Four and beyond…
Besides the fact that the last week of ICC was very intense and trying, I haven’t been able to update our site on either of our computers until today. I try to understand what I can about computers but some days it works and some days it doesn’t….I have chosen to cease striving to understand and just jump at the chance to use it when I can. 
ICC week three
I can’t believe that we only have one week left here at ICC. It has been an incredible journey thus far – a fun, challenging, and growing experience. We are definitely in a place better to serve others and be ministers of the Spirit as we head out to our next assignment. What our next assignment is….still an unknown but we are waiting with expectancy.

We have spent the last 10 days out in Waxhaw. NC attending the Wycliffe Inter-cultural Communications Course. It has been a challenge and a real growing experience. The classes, teachers, and subject matter is all very good and useful to all who have been or are going to work cross-culturally.
