Support Information

The Listros are looking for committed supporters through means of prayer and financial giving. There are three ways to support the Listros and join the ministry in Pucallpa: online giving, through the mail, and through the phone. See the images to the right for more specific information and details.

Prayer Support

Prayer is integral to any work of the ministry. God ordains things to happen, and not to happen, according to our prayers. Therefore, the power and assistance of prayer is so important that the Listros seek after your prayers consistently. Pray for their travels, for the ministry they’re involved in, for the people they talk with, etc. Pray that God would open eyes and open hears to witness, taste, and be delighted in the Gospel. This is the best way a supporter can pray.

Financial Support

Financial support is also integral. The costs of travel, of language school, of preparation, of living expenses, etc. are all raised as part of one big support package. There are one-time costs (i.e. language school) and there are monthly costs (i.e. rent, food). Monthly giving is encouraged because it naturally draws the supporter into the work of the ministry. It also provides the more necessary core support for the missionaries. Please feel free to contact Christian and Amy about more specific financial support needs.

Mailing Address

Mailing packages to Peru can be expensive and can take a while to reach their destination. Furthermore, expensive items can be “lost” (stolen) in route and can sometimes require missionaries to pay extra taxes on shipped goods. Therefore, while we would love to receive anything from you, we recommend sending items in padded envelopes and with a value of less than $70. Sometimes the best way to get a package to a missionary is have it taken with a team from the States. Feel free to contact us about opportunities for this.
